Merry Christmas from the Brunn Family

Reading is a priority in their culture as demonstrated through this beautiful tradition. The Brunn family started our annual celebration of Jolabokaflod four years ago, and every Christmas Eve we have a great day of sharing the love of reading together. We usually have the fireplace going (even though, it is rarely cold enough for it), and each of us receives a surprise book to read which we really enjoy. I can’t wait to see what book my family will choose for me this year, and I also look forward to choosing great books for my husband and kids. I hope that you join the ‘book flood’ and give the gift of reading this Christmas season.
