Merry Christmas from the Tigerts

Susan Tigert
It is so important for Christmas time to be a season of reflection and connection.  I believe it is critical for all of us to reflect on the past year and the highs and lows that have been presented.  This is a time for us to reflect on God’s calling for us and how we are choosing to respond, or not respond, to that calling.  It is also a time to reflect on how all of these experiences will impact the coming year.

I love this time of year when returning graduates walk the halls again and reconnect with a part of their history and foundation.  To see how they have grown and matured over time is a blessing, and I am so thankful they choose to share that journey with us. The connection continues with taking some time off to be with family, to have families reunited even for a short time, and to stop to just be present in the moment with each other.

As we enter into this Christmas break, I pray that all of my students, staff, and families have a fantastic opportunity to reflect and connect.  I pray that each student and staff member is safe and healthy while on break. But mostly I pray that Jesus is the center of everything that we do, and that we remember His sacrifice for us simply because He loved us.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

In Him,
The Tigert Family
