Remaining Centered in a Fast-Paced World

Slow down. Remember the basics of the Christian walk. Our nutty world is exactly why regular prayer and time in God’s Word should be such huge foundational elements of our day. You may say, “I just can’t find the time.” The answer, “We can’t thrive without making this time for God.” The truth of God’s Word is timeless. It speaks into our crazy world with a clarity not found anywhere else. When we carve out some time with God, He centers our world. It is an amazing phenomenon. The same amount of work is required during the day, the same pressures exist, the same balancing act is necessary, and yet when we start the day with God, He centers our day making life more manageable.
