Calvary Radicals Win First Place in the Georgia Southern Math Tournament

On Saturday, February 25, our high school math team, the Calvary Radicals, competed in the Georgia Southern Math Tournament. In our division, there were 102 students comprising 40 teams from around Georgia competing for trophies given to individuals and teams. Calvary Junior Victor Jiang won the first place individual award, scoring a 195 out of a possible 200 on the multiple-choice portion of the competition (one question shy of a perfect score!). Calvary Junior Sam Xie placed 6th in the individual awards, and Calvary Senior Gabby D’Alessandro placed 16th. Both varsity teams from Calvary finished in the top 10.
