My name is Kiley Brooks. I am from Effingham County, GA, where I was born and raised. I have been teaching for 5 years, and currently teach on the second-grade team at Calvary Day School. I enjoy coming to work each day, where I am able to grow in faith with my students. I love using my creativity and enthusiasm to create an environment that allows each student to be successful. I have also been a high school cheerleading coach for four years. I am currently one of the cheerleading coaches for the Varsity Competition Cheerleading Team, Varsity Sideline Team, and Game Day Competition Cheerleading Team. Dance and Cheerleading have always been a part of my life. I danced for 12 years, with tap being my favorite! I cheered in high school, at the collegiate level, and began coaching when my career in education started. I believe it will always be a part of me, and now my family. Having the opportunity to work with young students and student athletes is humbling and life changing. They bring my life so much joy, and I wouldn't be where I am now without each of them. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with my Bachelor's degree and recently graduated with my Master's degree from Liberty University. My husband Jared (of four years), and our one-year-old son, Chandler, are my world. They are the light of my life. We love enjoying all of life's moments together, going to church at First Baptist Church of Springfield, spending time with friends, traveling, Disney World, and being outside. We love Georgia Southern Football (Go Eagles!) and spending time with our yellow lab, Dolly. Since being on the Calvary campus, according to the cheerleaders, my southern accent can be spotted from a mile away. They quickly gave me the nickname, "Coach Country". Calvary has quickly become a second home and family to our family. We look forward to growing here and watching our son grow up as a Cavalier as well. Go Cavs!
