Review of Game Against Hancock Day School 10/14/2021

Coach Kick
The stands were rocking last Thursday. Loud and Proud! It was a total team effort. We are most disappointed we did not succeed in our attempt to win the game but our performance proved to everyone that we are a much better football team than we were the first time we played. Players and Coaches should be very proud of your results. I thank you all for your hard work and sacrifice. It means so much to me as coach who knows your sacrifice and dedication. I must tell you that the larger population of people never realize the satisfaction of achievement or accomplishment from a personal or team perspective. Think about the greater population of 5th & 6th graders in their respective classes and then look at how many 5th(7) & 6th(20) grade players we have.  Some people never get to experience the feeling of accomplishment from the challenge of striving to work hard to not just win but to compete to win. It is not winning that matters but competing to win is what really matters! Keep going never give up! Love you all Coach Kick.   A famous president of the United States Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt said it best, 

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
