Merry Christmas from the Mell's

Stacey Mell
The school children reenact the manager scene and the birth of baby Jesus. My family has always enjoyed this portrayal of Christ’s birth. When my children were little, they would scurry down the long marble aisle to gain a better view of the production. Now as they are grown, they sit up straight and strain their necks to gain a better visual of the production they have seen many, many times. As a congregation, we sing lots of wonderful Christmas songs and as we hear the words, we offer peace to each other. Our entire family will then gather at mother-in-law’s home for a wonderful meal together and exchange of gifts. The house is full of little children, with great excitement and love.  Family is priceless, and one should never take it for granted. Honor your family this Christmas season with your time and love; that is what really matters.
