Beginning with Prayer
This year we were privileged to have Pastor Cam Huxford share some thoughts on prayer and the promise in scripture that if we have the faith the size of a mustard seed, we will be able to say to any mountain, “Be moved,” and it will be done. He shared a fascinating account of a man named Doug Coe and a bet that he made with businessman Bob Hunter that resulted in a powerful moving of God in Africa. Pastor Huxford challenged us with four prayer mountains that we can pray for our children:
- Pray for your student’s teachers.
- Pray for your student’s friends.
- Pray for your student’s future spouse.
- Pray for your student to have an exciting life, but a boring testimony.
Begin the school year by praying for God to move in a fresh, new way in our school.
