Discipline Records...an Important Piece in College Admissions Decisions

Stacey Mell
honest and explain your personal situation to the collegiate institution(s). Please understand that those questions are asked to the student, and they are also asked to the counselor and sometimes even the teachers who are writing personal recommendations for the student. It is Calvary Day School’s policy to be honest and answer those questions truthfully.

An important factor for students to consider as they enter high school and for those who are continuing to navigate through the high school years is to not place yourself in such a situation that you would need to answer ”yes” to the before mentioned questions. All decisions in life have consequences - some good and some bad. Think through the decisions before you act. Tell yourself - I can’t do that - I do not want to have to admit to this on my college applications!! Please think through your decisions and realize that a hasty decision could affect your future college decision and ultimately perhaps the rest of your life.
