Ways to Serve

Calvary Day offers many opportunities for parents and community members to volunteer your time in support of our school. From lending a hand at our numerous fine arts events like school plays, musicals, and art shows, helping out with athletic event concessions, or serving in the CavShop, the school has many events that would not happen without the generous giving of time by dedicated volunteers. Beyond the activities listed above, volunteers are needed for various events throughout the school year. We encourage you to peruse the events below and sign up for a volunteer slot. Please know that by offering time and skills, volunteers play an integral role in enhancing the educational experience and fostering a positive and supportive school environment.

Sunshine Club (Teacher Appreciation)

In partnership with CDS parents and leadership, we desire to celebrate our faculty and staff on a regular basis. We strive to bring sunshine in moments of celebration and in times when our faculty and staff are walking through difficult seasons of life. Twice a semester, we serve our faculty with special treats served by our parents and leadership team. Each month, on the first Wednesday during the school year, we set aside time at the all-staff meeting to celebrate birthdays and give our staff free on-campus car washes and oil changes. The Sunshine Club is a small way we serve our faculty and staff by showing them love and support. To volunteer contact: Liza Youmans lyoumans@calvarydayschool.com or sign up here.)
