STEM in Lower School
After completing their towers the teachers had to write a 3 stanza sonnet about their tower; we laughed a lot! This type of activity is just a small example of what STEM learning is about- encouraging students to solve challenges that connect different subject areas. Research shows that this type of real-world teaching/learning leads to higher engagement which leads to deeper levels of knowledge. All lower school students will be participating in these type of STEM activities this school year!
