Calvary Class of 2018 are taking their last steps through the Halls of Calvary….

  • Complete the scholarship information sheet that you will receive in the mail the first week of May and turn it into Mrs. Mell.
  • Make sure that you have turned in your Senior Internship (mini-mester) permission form and turn in your completed hours sheet on May 15th.
  • Make sure you tell Mrs. Mell the college that you will attend in the fall so that we can mail out your final transcript. The final, stamped, and signed transcripts will mail out the first week of June.
  • One must complete either the FAFSA and/or the GA Apps applications on your Georgia Futures if your student is HOPE or Zell Scholarship eligible.
  • If you are applying for federal loans or Pell Grant, you must complete the FAFSA every year.
  • HOPE/Zell scholarship academic information that comes from Calvary will be sent in to Georgia Student Finance by June 30th.
  • Every senior needs to sign up for their college’s orientation. I encourage students to sign up as early as possible in the summer.
  • Make sure to clear all debt - class dues, library books, lunch tickets, athletic uniforms by May 15th.Transcripts will be held until all debt is clear.
  • Inform colleges that you were accepted to but do not plan to attend that you will not be attending.
  • National College Commitment Day is May 1st. You must inform the college you will be attending and pay all necessary required fees for attendance and housing.
  • Make sure you have purchased a t-shirt to the college you will be attending and be prepared to wear it to school on May 1st with jeans or khaki pants.
  • Prepare and pay for AP exams.
  • Continue to look for and apply for scholarships.

God has been preparing you for many years for your next stage of life. He has put the right people in your life to prepare and guide you.I wish you the best collegiate experience and always remember to let God direct your path.
