Ericka Brown, M.A., Head of Early Learning

Congratulations, Ericka Brown! Ericka recently completed her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education Leadership just 18 months after completing her Bachelor's degree from Ashford University.

Ericka serves as the Head of Calvary’s Early Learning Center and is mother to Elijah, a rising 3rd grader at Calvary. Ericka’s love for children and education started at a young age when she would practice teaching her cousins, resorting to stuffed animals when they had enough. In addition to those roles, Ericka also serves as the Preschool Director on Sunday for Calvary Baptist. 

We are extremely proud of Ericka’s determination to broaden her knowledge in Early Childhood Education and her commitment to Calvary. Ericka says, “This journey was hard as a single mom. I worked as a TESOL teacher teaching English to children in China while obtaining my Masters to gain experiences and broaden my scope. As the Head of Early Learning, I will continue to show that dedication to develop the whole student in our youngest Cavaliers.”
