Calvary Day School Welcomes Shon Hardy New Director Of Athletics

Calvary Day School would like to introduce Mr. Shon Hardy, the new Director of Athletics. Mr. Hardy comes from Trinity Valley School (TVS) in Fort Worth, Texas where he has served as Athletic Director since 2018. Hardy comes with experience from his time at Episcopal Collegiate School in Little Rock, Arkansas as their Director of Athletics, and his influence at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, N.C. Shon Hardy has been a key component of highly successful, well executed athletic programs. Mr. Hardy developed the Health and Physical Education program at several stops in his career and has demonstrated the ability to weave the classroom foundations into a high performing athletic program. Hardy excelled on the field as a Division I athlete at North Carolina State University while earning his Bachelor's Degree and holds a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration. Hardy is a Certified Athletic Administrator and is recognized by his peers in the Texas High School Athletic Administrators Association as a vital component of TVS.

We look forward to Mr. Hardy sharing his desire, experience, and education to impact and enhance our athletic program here at Calvary Day School. Mr. Hardy’s desire to guide an athletic program toward excellence was a major factor in his selection. “Mr. Hardy is the type of leader we are ready for at Calvary Day School. We want to excel on the field but we want to do it with a level of excellence that honors Christ,” says Dr. Hunter Chadwick, Head of Calvary Day School. Mike Offer, School Board President at CDS said, “We had a large pool of qualified applicants, we felt Shon was the best fit for the opportunity when we interviewed him and heard his vision for high quality Christian school athletics. Shon will be able to have an immediate impact on athletics in so many areas we need improvement in.” Calvary is excited to welcome its next Christian visionary leader to the school and continues to pray for Mr. Shon Hardy and his wife Allison as they transition to Savannah.
