Calvary Day School’s Athletic Hall of Fame will recognize and honor those Calvary Day School athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters who have excelled in their respective sports or coaching/support roles. These individuals have helped to bring honor, recognition, distinction, and excellence to Calvary Day School by their conduct both in and out of competition. This recognition will help maintain the spirit, pride, and sense of community as well as serving as a historical account of the great athletic traditions of Calvary Day School.
Athletes are eligible for nomination five years after their high school graduation. They must be in good standing as determined by the Committee Members. Such athletes must have competed in GISA or GHSA varsity sport(s) and must have excelled in such sport(s). Among the accomplishments taken into account will be individual (All-Area, All-Region, All-State, All-SMN Best of Preps) and team accomplishments; individual school or team records held; impact on teams and the overall athletic program at Calvary Day School during their era; and accomplishments thereafter.
Nominations are also open to coaches, teachers or administrators who have participated with distinction and/or made significant contributions to athletics at Calvary Day School as evidenced, for example, by the success of their teams and the acknowledgment of their former student-athletes. Such coaches or administrators shall be eligible for nomination beginning five years after they have left Calvary Day School for any reason, or in special circumstances as determined by the committee members.
Nominations close September 1st, 2019.
