Emerging Scholars Program
The Calvary Day School Emerging Scholars Program provides achievement-based scholarships awarded to students from 6th - 12th grade. This highly selective program utilizes Calvary Day School (CDS) to provide an academically excellent, Christ-centered education through the development of the total student: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. CDS is committed to partnering with families to develop our students into self confident leaders who know who they are and whose they are. Upon graduation, we desire for each of our graduates to be a light on college campuses across the world and carry that light into their professional environments upon completion of their post secondary education.
The Emerging Scholars Program proudly supports 6th - 12th grade students by awarding multiple scholarships annually. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. The program seeks those with a strong academic background while demonstrating the ability and desire to be a servant leader. For the inaugural class in 2021, the program provided 10 Emerging Scholars with financial aid for the 2021-2022 academic year. Emerging Scholars will be selected each year to receive these scholarships.
The 2023-24 Emerging Scholars Program application portal will be open from Feb. 6-17. Applications submitted by 5 p.m. Eastern on Friday, February 17, 2023 will be reviewed. The portal cannot be reopened, and incomplete or unsubmitted applications will not be reviewed. Applicants will be notified of their status via email by March 10.
