Using a set of rigorous research-based standards and evidence-based criteria, AdvancED Performance Accreditation examines the whole institution–the policies, programs, practices, learning conditions and cultural context–to determine how well the parts work together to carry out the institution’s vision and meet the needs of every learner.
AdvancED provides the Index of Education Quality (IEQ) as a holistic measure of overall performance, based on a comprehensive set of standards and criteria. A formative tool for improvement, it identifies areas of success as well as areas in need of focus. The average score range of schools AdvancED approved for accreditation in the last five years is between 278-283.
During our 2019 evaluation, our school scored 338!
This is the highest possible range--Global Accreditation! Global accreditation is attained by less than 10% of all private schools in America. This is the highest score our evaluator has assigned in seven years and is truly amazing and a tribute to the hard work of our teachers and students. This is a powerful story about the academic excellence and positive school culture present at Calvary. During the accreditation process, schools are evaluated in 30 areas. Calvary had 24 areas that were ranked as impactful effective practices!
The evaluators spoke with glowing terms about our students, teaching staff, and administrative team. Their biggest compliment came regarding our school culture:
“The school culture of Calvary is unique. You eat, live and breathe your mission statement of Faith, Academics, Excellence. Your school culture is a defining strength and something that separates you from all other schools.”
